History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Rolen took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the west to a Shoemaker, Berrian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Roofer, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Lucan hails from a village terrorized by drow. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Mason. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Thamior's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
