History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Rolen was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Rolen decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Weaver kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and seeks redemption

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he's repulsed by the pc
