History: Born in the east to a Gardener, Suhnae learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Suhnae grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Suhnae. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Banker, his father struggled to pay the bills. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is dressed in a clean red cloak covering his clean studded leather. His hair is red and very short. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The war was a terrible time for him, and Naeris does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Naeris was born the youngest of three triplets. Naeris was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Naeris decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Aerdeth was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Miller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and he is unsatisfied with his job

His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. Nutae enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Nutae was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nutae's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.
