History: Paelias was born with his father's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paelias grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paelias. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
