History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Efferil was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Efferil's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
