History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shipwright arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. After months of barely getting by, Arannis managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
