History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by giants. Varis was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Glassblower. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
