His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Lucan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Slave Trader. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
