His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Hadarai enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his father's many stories. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: He is an average looking southern male in his early mid-life. He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. With a patchy red beard and wild red hair. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature ceremonial dagger.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion

Personality: Peren speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
