History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Varis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Efferil was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Efferil's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
