He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Thervan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Through the years after Quarion was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Quarion's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
