History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Born to a Mortician, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Gardener hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Being a Gardener kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Paelias is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Paelias was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
