A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Thervan is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Guard, but he got bored and became a Blacksmith. He struck the Blacksmith job and began his own company from there.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: He got into the Shoemaker business at a young age. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shoemaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shoemaker and was forced into it by his family.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
