History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Stableman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against goblins

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Theren learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His first spouse was a Shipwright, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
