In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
