He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Uthemar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Uthemar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Uthemar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
