When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His black hair is braided into rings. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Aust is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Aust began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mayor for the past few years.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a strong sense of loyalty to elven people

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
