History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized violet coat. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Dreali lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Bather, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dilettante.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This dark-skinned male usually wears his brown robe and has his halberd always slung over his shoulder. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His hair is long and black with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Now he works as a music tutor during his time off.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears baggy brown pantaloons and a black scarf. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he wants revenge against gnolls
