History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Body Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Naill fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Theren is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in a small desert village. Theren liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
