Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has dyed his greying auburn hair a little too much giving a sharp auburn color. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
