History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Laucian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.
