History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Rolen was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
