The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Naeris was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Naeris decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
