The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thervan grew up listening to his father's many stories. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Soveliss was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Lamlis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He's also a talented Jeweler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
