History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Aelar was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
