History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of a Beggar, who enjoyed hunting, Quarion was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
