History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This late middle aged man wears bulky green painted plate armor and is in decent physical shape. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is mildly Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Elves. His skin is dark but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His white hair is braided into rings. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rael fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Aerdeth has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He works hard and plays hard.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tailor. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tailor.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
