Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He prefers to wear flannel. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Paelias hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Paelias alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Varis will drive conversation. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to work out more often
