History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Efferil grew up listening to his father's many stories. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Ahvain was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ahvain decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Being a Spice Merchant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
