Personality: Paelias speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it.
