Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Rolen was born with his mother's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and retire the richest man in the east
