History: Lamlis hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Lamlis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Tharivol alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and someone believes him a fraud
