History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Theren was taken on many hunting expeditions. A freak accident while working with his Barrister mother left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Aelar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
