History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Varis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up monstrous two handed axe and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
