One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Theriatis took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hammer and armor he uses now. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
