Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Theren hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Roofer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Azaki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
