Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Assassin mother left him crippled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Courier business.

History: Born in the north to a Courier, Heian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Courier work with an outfit from a few towns over. Courier work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it

Personality: Naal hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion.
