History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Through the years after Peren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Peren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

History: Theriatis hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: Born in the east to a Cartwright, Quarion learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a grey Stetson hat and grey clothes. His black hair is still thick. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A freak accident while working with his Soapmaker father left him crippled. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he's looking for his big break
