History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Peren took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
