Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Carter. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Carter responsibilities is difficult; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
