Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a sword on his belt. His hair is red and very short. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. Raer is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and money/treasure

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. After a long history of fighting, Aust and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
