History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Ruler for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Carrie was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against orcs.
