History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
