History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He is a Stylist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Korfel grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Korfel. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Rolen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.
