History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Rael was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Rael's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: He was born in the east. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Enialis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Enialis. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Lucan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
