Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He has the majority of his body covered in plate. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy red hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Detective kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a blue coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a skull scrunchie. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his brown eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: He sports black clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Himo enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Himo was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: This man is very fat, and is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing tan cape and mantle trimmed with soft white waves gently in the breeze. He has shaved his head bald. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Berrian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Berrian was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
