History: He comes from a rich southern family. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Halimath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is greedy

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Paelias reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in quarterstaff use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
