Description: He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. The war was a terrible time for him, and Raer does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Raer liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Raer and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born to a Carter, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Roofer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is content; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. He is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly ceremonial daggers and rapiers. His silver hair is singed and shortened. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His chestnut hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
