Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Mindartis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Body Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Thervan was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Thervan decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Map Maker, but he was a colossal failure. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and a deep hatred of illithids
