History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against illithids

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He tends to his Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
